FAQs: Translations Project Pricing
Since several factors go into how we calculate a project’s cost, we provide custom quotes based on your specific files rather than flat rates.

Base Translation Rates
All projects are priced per word by language pair. The following is included in the per-word price:
- Full TEP (translation, editing, and proofreading) process
- Project Management
- Quality Assurance
- Basic Typesetting Services (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, .txt, .rtf)
Additional formatting fees are charged by the hour and will be quoted upfront prior to translation. This fee applies when a document is in one of the following (but not limited to) formats: uneditable PDF, InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Publisher, Canva, and Quark.

Translation Services Details
✅ Minimum project fee (Spanish): $75.00
✅ Minimum project fee (other languages): $100.00
Projects of the same language pair(s) may be grouped together to meet the minimum fee
✅ Rush delivery is based on availability and subject to a 25% – 100% rush fee

Additional Services
- Desktop publishing and typesetting (additional formatting fee): $85/hour
- Editing/updating existing CLI translations: $75/hour
- Proofreading/updating third-party (non-CLI) translations: $85/hour
- Audio and Braille transcription: Quoted on a per-project basis
Discounts & Savings
A benefit of using our translation service regularly is that future projects will be easier, faster, and cheaper than the initial cost of translation.
- 🔁 Repetitive text: Every customer has a profile in our translation memory software where we store each project we’ve completed. When we receive a new project, we’ll run it through the customer’s translation memory profile to identify any repeated words, phrases, or sections. If repetitive text is found and used, a discount is applied to the project.
- 📦 Volume discounts: Larger projects (based on word count) may qualify for volume-based discount.
Discounts are applied on a per-project basis and quoted upfront.

Unlike flat-rate providers, we take the time to analyze your documents so you only pay for what’s needed. We look at:
- All text (including headers, captions, footnotes, etc.)
- Formatting/design needs
- Discounts available
