Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
CLI is compliant with HIPAA in all interpretation and translation proceedings involving the protection and privacy of health and medical data. HIPAA is managed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

International Medical Interpreters Association (IMIA)

Joint National Committee for Languages and the National Council for Languages and International Studies (JNCL-NCLIS)
JNCL-NCLIS represents over 60 national and regional organizations whose mission is to ensure all Americans have the opportunity to learn and use English and at least one other language.

National Council on Interpreting in Health Care (NCIHC)
NCIHC is a multidisciplinary organization whose mission is to promote and enhance language access in healthcare in the United States.

Northwest Translators and Interpreters Society (NOTIS)
NOTIS is an organization for professional translators and interpreters in the Pacific Northwest that hopes to bridge some of the gaps between languages and cultures, dedicated to providing language professionals with resources, opportunities, and tools.
