At Certified Languages International, Communication Plays a Central Role: Top Workplaces 2021

For Certified Languages International, a seven-time winner in The Oregonian/OregonLive’s Top Workplaces competition, the Covid-19 pandemic led to creative approaches to supporting its employees’ communication and camaraderie. Connecting organizations with remote interpreters since 1996, CLI was well-positioned to quickly pivot to a fully remote (and later hybrid) workforce of around 250 employees while maintaining its company culture of open communication. At its center is the company’s belief that being able to communicate in your own language is a human right — a value championed by its employees.
