A couple weeks ago, Certified Languages International appeared on the Inc. Magazine list of fastest growing private companies in the U.S. for a 6th year. We’re the 9th largest woman-owned business in Oregon and Southwest Washington, according to the Portland Business Journal. And last week, The Oregonian recognized CLI again this year as one of Oregon’s top workplaces.
The reason CLI has seen such remarkable growth over the past decade and has been recognized year after year by multiple publications is because of all the people who work with CLI.
Dedicated Interpreters Are at the Core of Our Success
It takes a lot of talented individuals working in a lot of different capacities to keep a company thriving.
Our dedicated Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) work the front lines. They’re the first people our clients interact with and they set the tone of the experience CLI offers its customers.
Then the professional interpreters who work with CLI do the heavily lifting. We contract with only the best, most proven interpreters in the industry. It’s their professionalism, talent, and enthusiasm for providing top-notch customer service that really sets CLI apart.
It’s because these individuals are so important that this past week we celebrated International Translation Day, honoring the indispensable talents of interpreters around the world, and Customer Service Week, in appreciation of the hard work CSRs put in every day.

CLI depends on several different types of IT technicians, software engineers, and network administrators. We rely on compliance officers, interpreter recruiters, and a large quality assurance department.
